Foundational Access

What is Foundational Access?

Foundational Access is an opportunity for all of us to collaborate in shaping the very core of the game before it becomes fully playable. At this stage, we’re building the basic systems like camera controls, animations, and movement. By participating, you’ll be testing these early foundations and providing feedback that will directly influence the development process.

Instead of thinking of it as a traditional game preview, Foundational Access is more like being part of a collective effort to create something from the ground up. Together, we’ll refine the basic elements, ensuring that everything works smoothly before more advanced features are added.

And because this is Web3, your contributions will be valued in a unique way. Your time and feedback aren’t just important—they're rewarded. As a community, we’re shaping the game together, and your involvement is an essential part of that journey.

Requirements for Foundational Access

To join Foundational Access, you need to own a Holdaran Ancient, which like all future Holdarans represents a Citizen of Holdara. All Holdarans grant you membership in the Gathering of Holdarans (DAO), allowing you to help shape the future of the game. Unlike traditional game keys, Holdarans are fully owned, meaning they can be sold, traded, or gifted. Ownership is backed by a perpetual license for the Holdara intellectual property (IP), granted to the DAO by Collective Anvil.

Moving to Early Access

Early Access is the next step in our collective journey after Foundational Access, where the game begins to take shape with more gameplay elements, features, and content available to explore allowing us to focus on expanding the game with richer experiences.

While the game is still under development and evolving, this stage brings it closer to a more recognizable gaming experience. The feedback loop remains critical, as the community's insights will help polish and refine the new content.

And as always in Web3, your continued involvement and contributions are rewarded, ensuring that every step forward is a shared success. Early Access is about pushing the project further together, transforming the foundations into something more dynamic and playable.
